Re: new bike
So after a lot of looking around and lots of reading and watching reviews and way to much thinking I've decided not to get a brand new bike as I kinda need a car as well. So I'm off today to look at a 2002 ktm 520 exc anyone got any words of advice on these

Depends on what you sort of riding you want to be doing?

Maybe the gym membership, life insurance and AA cover will all end up making it an expensive choice!

Can't imagine they're any less of a handful than a 450, but as someone who finds a 250 plenty, you're probably best ignoring me
If it's in decent nick, and you like it - sod it, just buy it and enjoy the ups and downs (every bike has got some!) of your choice

Re: new bike
Well I took it for a test ride and it didn't feel as harsh as I thought it would be started find cold and hot no klonks or klonks and came with a brand new set or motard wheels

Re: new bike
Have you bought it?
Different kettle of fish on the road than off road but you'll get used to it.
Not much choice if you've already bought it
