Re: new bike
I went into munters last month for a few small parts and thought i'd mention to him I bought a bike off him a few years ago - let him know im a returning/regular customer...
I said - That BMW you sold me has been great - taken me to spain and all around france twice ...the guys on the BMW forums are all so helpful with maintenance tips etc..
He said - yea well BMW riders have a lot of time on their hands as they dont have girlfriends
(basically calling me and all BMW riders wankers)
I said yea well Girlfriends are for poofs mate - not real bikers !!!
he almost cracked a smile...
I had a list of part numbers for him - and he said he couldnt search by part number and made me explain what the bits were .... however when i went there the following week for another few parts Alex took the part numbers off me and had them on the counter in seconds
like taffy says he does have a take it or leave it attitude - and I think because they are so well positioned they have a massive customer base in south wales and therefore have become a bit too comfortable.... what he needs is another KTM dealer to open up within 20 miles of him, I reckon that would change his attitude slightly

Had a few bikes from AMS , always friendly and happy to do a bit of a deal . Good online parts too with good discount if you order online ( google it or check ktm forum for discount code)

No , I've decided I've been lowering the tone too much recently . Sticking to polite and informative posts from now on . Neil's gonna come back with PMT or whatever it is if I keep on like this .

Had a few of them myself. James is the man.
You could always buy a Husqvarna from Plummy at Touratech...
