Are they nice safe M&S one's or dodgy old split crotch job's off the market - because it'd obviously make a big difference to my final decision

Re: Rekluse clutch?
Have use 2 types of rekluse the early z start did feel a bit like a c90 ,but the z start pro total different, its like having a connection to you brain ,the clutch is always doing exactly what you want it to do. keep the clutch lever as it can be handy to disengage the clutch when using engine braking.
The clutch kits are easy to install have always done my own,the kit comes with steel balls and ceramic balls the more ceramic balls used the harsher the clutch engages ,I have always used just the steel balls and find the engagement perfect.
I have ridden bike with the wrong set up and they were a bitch to ride ,too soft is as bad as too harsh.
The trick is to get it set up right, dont knock it till you try one set up right
These clutches may be looked at by some as a bit of a cheat but some of us need all the help we can get .Steve where can I get those stabilisers LOL.
If anyone whats to find out what rekluse clutches are like when set up right, feel free to come and try my WR anytime

Re: Rekluse clutch?
The Z start pro was the same on my RM250 just perfect, however the EXP 3.0 fitted to my Husaberg took quite a few attempts to get it right; experimenting with different wedges and spring combos, belville washers. As Sheepshagger has said set them up wrong and they are horrible. The places where I ride I find it makes a real difference not having to think about the clutch; I will also take any help I can, you might call me a cheating, fanny, knicker wearing faggot but I really don't give a fuck, it makes my ride easier!
