Peak District weekend
'Prince Harry' in his favourite spot the evening before!
There was some bollocks being spoken by now
After a few hiccups - a late breakfast, Steve getting some bread to dip in his fried egg, Wolfy's van brake disc falling off, getting fuel and then actually finding the rendezvous spot we met up with our guides for the day Shaun and Martin - slightly late
At the first gate we realized we were a man down, but he was soon found still in the car park 'fiddling with his helmet' - typical Prince Harry really!
On to the first group of lanes which were buggers - like an extra long Pant Glas steps!!
Due to a bit of a late start and a long route planned there wasn't much time for photo's so just grabbed a few where and when
Me getting the 'death stare' off Martin for wasting time with the camera again
L to R - Phil, Ray, Wolfy, Steve, Martin, Shaun and Bryn
Followed by Chris who'd shut the gate!
Quick pit stop at Morrisons
A cracking weekend, and a big thank you to Shaun and Martin who did a fantastic job, that allowed us to see so much of The Peaks and to get the maximum out of it. Cheers chaps
A trip was planned to Alton Tower the next day to do 'The Death Ride to Oblivion' or some such old bollocks, but unfortunately Ray's bottle gave out so after enduring an evening in a pub where a brass band practiced (yes, really!!) and getting roped into and then whipped in a pub quiz we cancelled it and went home instead
