Couple from the weekend
Been trying to head north/north all summer but had to wait for the weather to break
So early friday morning me & bryn set off, i knew where the b&b was....but i was lucky! bryn knew how to get there
8am start weather was great, pity about the rucksack......... but better than saddle bags for sure.
Wasn't long till we started to warm up
Nice to see the summer gave us somthing
This was a lot deeper than it looked, so i got proper wet pushing through
There was a awesome trail not far from here
Anyway we almost made it to Barmouth before dark....sorry about the fag breaks bryn next time i will get a patch
Last trail of the day we seen this.....?
Which lead to this
Then this......
Proper shitfight getting through there in the dark.....but Hey! thats trailriding
Was nice to see the toll man had shut up shop early mind
ps: if anyone finds a sump guard between here & Barmouth ITS MINE

Great ride report and pics I ride around there a lot and yes the river crossing can be a little on the deep side with some nice large slipy rocks, as my mate he's been down a few times in there

Superb pics wolfy, looked like you had a good un.
Did you manage to head further up the coast after Barmouth?
Wouldn't fancy going to far with a rucksack on.
Great report

Re: Couple from the weekend
Well we made it to the digs and to a warm welcome from Danny & lisa, which was surprising
" well..... did look like we had been fighting with a bog monster"
£30 a night & use of the garage, no brecy in house but plenty two min walk away.
Quick clean of the goggles......
Then off to do a loop of the area, which has some amazing scenry & some proper trails

175 miles to get there 12 hours, last 50 meters slowed it up a bit tho!
