Re: Newbie ride 20th may 2016
it was a great ride, still think I`m drying out tho.
loved the comment off the guy on the GS "you wont keep up with his mates" ! they were both on Ktm adventure bikes! think Lee took it as a challenge
Thanks Lee for leading and Viv for sweeping

I must have forgotten about loads of things throughout the day guys, hence the lack of report and my one finger typing skills. A picture paints a thousand words they say. But no camera..... the guys on the adventure bikes were pretty slow but I still wanted to beat them after that comment from the guy on the BMW who was off to the pub for the afternoon.

There must be some easy money to be made riding round at 2mph on an adventure bike on gravel roads and calling it something exciting...... that one guys bike must of been 15 grand with all that kit on.

Re: Newbie ride 20th may 2016
nice one clarky,
did you get any bother from the farmer at the bottom of water breaks its neck? he gave us a bit of shit last time we were there but when we stopped to chat he calmed down and let us thru, he was moaning that the "4x4 bastards are wrecking it for you boys too"
he then showed us where the correct access was from the other side but not from his land, we went around the other side to be met by another angry farmer, seems they dont get on, but we did manage to find the correct route in the end!
