Re: Wyegate trial
Nope!
Won't be doing it again until I get a bike that I can touch the ground off either!
Might be a good event for someone wanting to find more lanes in the Wye Valley though - a KTM 525 would the ideal sort of bike to do in on too
If you fancy it I'd come along and offer support etc

Re: Wyegate trial
Section's include Pant Glas steps, Limekiln etc which are hard enough without some old bugger standing there with a clipboard tutting when you put a foot down
Cracking (but hard) day out though, and you get to ride a lot of stuff you normally wouldn't

A bit more of it - a possible sighting of 'Hondamicky' there too??

Think I might volunteer for the job of 'old bugger with a clipboard' rather than ride it on the CRF!
A trials tyre and 5 minutes with an angle grinder on the 525 lockstops and she'd be ideal for the job

Re: Wyegate trial
It's easer to get a pork chop in a synagogue than a Kim 525 in to the wyegate . They are a very selective bunch .

Re: Wyegate trial
That's what I thought ray, but did bump into a guy that knows all about the wyegate & he did say it was open to all bikes nowadays.
I wont mention his name tho! just in case the regulars decide to hang him
In saying that, probably a lot easyer on the right bike but it do look like a good day out & do fancy it myself.
