It's all good either way I've timed it up and turned it by hand so I know nothing is hitting! Plenty of compression too! The rings were shagged, 0.8mm service limit on the compression and it was 2.2mm and 1mm limit on the oil scraper and it was 3.4mm no wonder she was puffing! I done the inlet valves and timing chain too while it was apart along with cam bearings just incase!
I've rebuilt it before just a while ago, I done my c90 about 28 times and done loads of small engines and my john Deere tractor, every days a school day! Nothing has blown up yet

Check your brake pads while you at joe Good work , sure she be fine now
