No just one side that was bent by about 30 degrees. Only thing I can think of is when I went in the river there was a rock underneath that hit it perfectly in the wrong place. I heard a loud click, but it would take some hit to bend and snap 3/4 of the way along. Strange one.

Only thing I can think of Clarky is the clip had come out and the pin was sticking out and hit a stone in the river. Do you lock wire your pins, don't trust the clips they can be popped out.

Re: pad pins snapped
I've had the front pop out before but it only happened as the clips must have come out. Only realised when I heard something clicking on the spokes when I came to the end of a trail, looked down and the pin had slid across and was just touching. Bit shit that the pin goes in from the back really, no need.

XBB is right, reckon your clip has come out, the main pin has then caught the spoked as its come through,,
