Re: Devon & Cornwall
Day two.
After a meal, few beers & a giggle the night before we awoke to see the rain had stopped
7.00am brecy then got suited & booted & waited for the rest to finish there hard boiled eggs to meet us at the digs.
Short ride then down the A38 over the Tamar bridge to meet up with the guys
Quick chat, then on to the first lane which was steepish & bloody slippery which kind of set the tone of the days lanes to come
Joss was stopping for nothing on this lane & knocked steve on his ass
Very rare you see steve stuck for words too!....
Nice sign to put up in a picnic area eh......
Sure I over heard dave saying that very rare he falls off, something to do with having long legs...?
After that river crossing there was a monster of a trail, a few of us gave it a go but noticing none of the devon guys were even thinking about it we should have known better
We all failed, but it was worth a little look
Cricket was that hungry by know he even had a crack at some maze...
Tho the burger van wasn't that far after..
Shite name...nice colour tho!
Not sure what happened here..? but think joss would have had more joy on the little tractor
Think it was the last lane when me & steve had a little play in the cow pat
When a steel bar popped up from nowhere straight up between the wheel & disc through the forks and popped me rad stopping me dead.
With no water left my day was done, so limped to the road to wait for cricket & steve to pick me up. cheers guys
Big Thankyou to Dave for leading & Charlie for sweeping a cracking route on some awesome lanes
Big thanks to steve for setting the ride up & everyone else that was there
Cracking weekend that
