Tuesday night to Monmouth and back

Pete led a few of us to Monmouth and back. 62 miles. Was great fun and did a few lanes I hadn't done before, some great climbs in the forest.

It just weren't how it looked with that llama:twisted:
I had mearly freed it from the hedge, and was checking it had circulation to its legs. Up in the hills you quite often see farmers doing that to their sheep! In extreme cases it helps if you have your trousers down!!!

Looks quite tough going. 
Where did you go from and roughly how long did it take?
62 miles is a long way for me off road 

From Usk to Monmouth and back. Left at 6 and back around 10-10:30 I think. Stopped once properly at Monmouth for fuel.

Yeah taffy, but that was the time we left the pub.
We arrived at the kings head 9.45pm we were out for 3.5 hours.
Started usk to Wentwood to shirenewton to devauden to treleck to the narth to redbrook to newland to wyesham to fuel Monmouth to
Telleck to pant glass to lansoy to usk.
Managed to keep a reasonable pace 16mph.

I think I'd 've needed a bypass if I tried that !:pale:

Great vid Taff.  Not happy about missing all these great rides :bounce:  Few more weeks and all should be sorted.

Well that was a cracking vid Taffy, and loved the part where you caught Pete sleeping in the hedge !!!!!!

Don't think he was sleeping...... think he spotted a llama that needed a leg rub
