Have you still got the old battery? Check the water levels. My sealed 'non servicible' battery was instantly fixed with the addition of the correct water levels

yea - i did that on my last euro trip - and because i was riding everyday it was ok - but ive left it since then in a cold garage - it was due a new battery and now will have a trickle charge setup - got to get a new sprocket set for her next and MOT - then she's ready for you to ride

Additionally, I can quite easily make you a waterproof remote charging port on the bike where ever you need on the bike (within sensible reason)

yea - the battery is fucked really - last time i took it out - november i topped up and charged the battery overnight - plugged it in and it turned over a few times but then died - i ended up putting my ktm battery on it
see thing is also on the BMW the lights are always on (no off switch) and the computer needs to kick in (all dash lights up and closes down 1-by1)- and fuel injection and stuff - so as soon as you turn the key its sucking from the battery
there are also a few common problems with tick over - all to do with voltage and shit ....
so time for a new battery anyway

Get the best value battery you can, see what supac are doing, thier on goat mill road.

I got one of these a few years ago , been using it on a little tractor - always used to go flat over winter etc - not any more .
Not sure if they a big seller in Wales though , what with the lack of sun .
