Roughing it in Barmouth

Top weekend in North Wales . Picked Dayne up on Fri morning , bike with flat tyre already , and he'd forgotten the steaks ! Up to campsite by about 4pm , set up camp , and waited for Clarky , Joe & Mel . Beers cooling in the stream , happy days ! Good old ride the next day , did some new climbs up over the mountain , plus some favourites . back to camp ( via the pub for some ) for a pile of meat & beer and embarrassing stories , after we'd had a good wash in the sub zero stream water .Day 2 and more fresh lanes , plus a few dead ends down the bottom of muddy forest hillsides . Starting to feel the strain by about 2.30pm so we headed back to camp , and got going homeward . Some ace lanes and great company . Top marks for Wonky managing all day Sat with no rear brake , and Clarky's tubeliss tyre repair job . Mel got the award for most disgusting campfire story , and Joe had the best gadget ( 12v mattress inflator which turned the campfire into a forge furnace ! )

Forgot the steaks! Still brought half a cow!

Cracking weekend guys loved it! awesome tracks with great company, luckily the camera went flat before the skinny dipping moment but if any footage does get out from a third party I just want to clarify the water was extremely cold
