Barmouth 2016

I hope everyone appreciates the fact I did 98 road miles to get home early just to put the first few pic's of the Barmouth epic up!
(OK I fell arse over head onto a Landrover bumper, and felt too secondhand to continue )

We woke up to a nice, bright frosty morning on Saturday - but it was pissing down by the time all the pre-ride bike maintaince was done in the car-park



Gareth had everything you could possibly need for a 2 day ride with him



Plus a few thing you don't!



Everything that is except fecking air in his front tyre, but he quickly fixed it using the usual 'Gareth system' -  by standing around looking helpless until the grown up's step in and do it for him!!



Everyone got straight across the first river no trouble











Until Catptain Nemo turned up that is!!





But he soon got it going again just in time for the snow and hail to start - using the same system!



Top tip - if you see a bog/river/steep hill with Wolfy and his camera sat the other side beware!









The crafty old fox quickly sussed out what was going on and went around though



Onwards and upwards and the weather started improving





Random shot as had nothing better to do than take a pic of the 'ladies bike' while waiting for Dude to get pulled out of a bog  



No idea what that scum was, and tried not to think about it too much!





Dude obviously spotted the camera just in time to get his arse off the seat for the first time all day

After having Autumn and Winter in the morning Summer arrived as we got closer to the sea





At a garage Ray looks riveted as Muffy is undoubtedly telling him how 'he's had it pinned' all day long



















Not sure what Wolfy was trying to tell me here!

An hours rest (and painkiller munching) later we all met up in the pub to mainly eat, drink and talk shit!  



Huge thanks obviously to Wolfy for making it all happen, Joe for sweeping, Julian for substitute sweeping and everyone else for everything else

Great pics Gary , and a great trip it was too . Today was ace too , but I think we were all glad to see the carpark at the end of the day . I've got some good pics , and Joe has some choice footage I believe too . hope the Winchester 2 got back ok , and Ray gets special award for tyre fitting . Major cheers to Wolfy for that ride , and everyone else for some great memories - just don't mention that toothbrush !

Never touched the engine, just maintained it!
But they are quite a low tuned SOHC engine, that the tests say is 'as reliable as an anvil'
