Re: Todays ride
Got the spark plug out the hole by putting the spark plug cap thingy back on to pull it out. Cleaned plug, turned engine over to check for spark. Plug back in and she started straight away. Must be the cold weather as battery struggled to turn engine over at any speed.
Gunna swap batteries tonight!

Joss i am Impressed with your jump leads .when you dropped in the river you did not have spark plug, spanner, screwdriver or anything but tobacco and wet fag papers.

Great video Rob, you have managed to capture all my lie downs from the day . I am glad to report there is no damage done, but I am sure I will have some ribbing next time

Re: Todays ride
Things you gotta do to avoid one of Wolfies imfamous rides. Looking at the pictures and videos I thought, f@@k that, but then Neal, Nick and CB said they really enjoyed it...
In reply to Mr Shocker:
First it was a broken battery, YUASA I might add.
Then it was a shitty plug, NGK I might also mention.
Got changed, sat I in van for wee sulk. Got head back together. Got out of van. Removed tank. Pulled plug out of hole using plug cap. Got a spark. Put plug back in, tank on and bingo...
Note to self. Don't leave bike for weeks without TLC...

Re: Todays ride
You sure it was the fault of two of the most notoriously reliably brands avaliable - NGK and Yuasa?
Or was it what they had the misfortune to be attached to??
But of course if some crafty old bugger was pressing the stop button and start button at the same time - Good thinking!
