Exc200 ?
I'm thinking of getting a 2 stroke for the practice and enduro days , maybe a few lanes . Sticking with ktm for ease of sharing parts etc with my excf . I'm not looking for a missile , so the 200 exc seemed the one to go for . However a few folk have said that I'll be frustrated with it and screaming it all the time . I haven't asked Ryan how he likes his , but he obviously does , but would a 300/250 be better ? I just want light and nimble , and not too lairy . It'll be a 2013/14 one if I go for it , so the latest engine etc , and it's got to have electric start.

Id get a 300 if I were you and I bet after a couple of weeks the 350 will be on the bay. They aint lairy at all, very linear, try before you buy theres plenty of us out with 200s 250s and 300s im sure youll be able to have a couple of shots and then you can make your own mind up........:study:

2013 200exc have got e/s , plus about a grand cheaper than the 300 , which probably would be the best all rounder . When I had my freeride , I loved its nimbleness , it was just a bit cramped size wise . Plus I fancy reliving my teenage 2 smoke days again !

Well I didn't know that!
What about the 125? They can be great fun in the woods!

Never rode ryans 200 but looks far from under powered.
If he rode a 300 he would be roosting three riders back munn

Re: Exc200 ?
Had the three, 200 250 and 300, I highly recommend you have a go on a 200, it's an overbored 125 which means it's really light compared to the 250 and 300. reason I have the 300 now is cos I is fat and there's a bit more torque with it. Don't think you can beat the 200 in the woods and you'd be surprised with the poke in it.

Re: Exc200 ?
I had a 200 for 3 whole weeks,, hated it and would never reckomend one to anyone who wants to hone their bike skills. I found it a right wind up trying to ride it..
250 or 300,, but not the 200.

Had an 07 200exc,realy good bike, very light and nimble, brilliant on the tight stuff, easy to kick start ,needs a flywheel weight to smooth out,if i competed more i would have kept it,its all down to the individual mufynman
