Sarn And Back Empty Sarn And Back

Post by The Drifter Sun Jul 07, 2013 7:51 pm

Well met up with a couple of nice guys today and Graham to take us over the Sarn I did the ride to test the newly acquired bike i had and overall i was pleased but really do need to improve my riding skills i think in my opinion when i had the kdx 220 i was over my head for a newbie and some of the rides were for a more experienced rider even though i enjoyed and met some fantastic guys who were really helpful, Todays ride over sarn was a good pace and i handled it really well bike was not as aggressive as the kdx  which helped me to concentrate on my riding i didnt fall off but was very close on  two occasions Very Happy I think this bike will suit me more but more trail riding and not so much technical Enduro Embarassed Even though i dont ride fast i was at my limit today with the guys i rode with Sarn was quite dry and it wasnt long before i was sweating maybe due to the pace set Embarassed Very Happy but i got back in one piece and look forward to my next rideout with some of you guys.cheers

Thanks for a good day Graham:cheers:

Think a beta alp is the ideal bike for someone just starting out on.

Nothing wrong with an "Alp" Will . I have toyed with getting something like these on a few occasions . Some of the enduro bikes seem really tall at times but that is probably due to the fact that I am a short arse . Enjoy , mate .
