You can get the whole light kit, voltage regulator and wiring harness from the states for just over £138 posted + import fees [about £70-80 ontop - cheaper if its marked as a gift] - worth doing if your buying a S/H bike.

Iirc the xc-f stator is only 66watts [on the 350] - so don't expect cibie spotlight power but its enough for mot.

Trailtech, Steahly and a few others also do kits.. loads of info on the net so Shepy tell your mate to search - You can pick up bargains, the americans will do good discount deals if you ask
