Cheap waterproof socks

Well went out for a couple of hours with Shepy and I can confidently report that they do exactly what they say on the tin. My feet were bone dry, and because they're over sized you can wear a pair of warm socks underneath them, simples! On another point it was slippery as fuck on the short grass (frozen underneath) and was lethal. Tap the front brake, wheel gone from underneath you, or pin it and the back end went the same way. Good fun though. Did a couple of lanes around the Goose and then onto the Blaenavon slag tips Gave the Blorange a miss.

bought a pair of waterproof socks today, wait for it, £8.50,Abergavenny indoor market, army surplus stall. Will need to test them now in some puddles, anybody know for any?

can't swim, that's why am afraid to go on one of your rides, I've seen some of the photo's,water and mud everywhere

If they are gortex wash them in non-bio washing powder or nikwax and reproof them using nikwax works great

I did e-mail them and say i'd posted on here and that they should shift a few pairs in this neck of the woods, not even a fecking thank you! :x

I just put some plastic bags on my feet in the boot, waterproof and warm... and dont need to be washed etc
