Any more bits?
Yes, about 7 hours more!
But either way too sweary or way too boring - i'm sure no one wants to see me balancing at an angle in a river for bloody ages, making funny little grunting/whimpering noises, while waiting for Brownie and Dave to rescue me
Yer why not? But it means you have to watch through 7 hours to find the good bits...

jams wrote:Great vids/pics everyone. Congrats grandad! Enjoyed the somewhat short ride I had. I've spent more time fixing than riding recently, suppose that's trail riding sometimes! That Bloody tent is in the bin already.
Got back to base camp OK then with Zip tye holding the rear wheel spindle in! What was wrong with your tent? Looked a good one to me?

Re: North Wales weekend
Day one......sorry for delay guys been sucking me thumb
After a cracking bbq & giggle on Friday night I awoke to the sound of shockers voice fair do's there is no need for a alarm clock when he's about
Paracetamol & a red bull breakfast was all I could eat
Joss was a bit over dressed for the bbq on Friday evening, but he was happy
With the weather being good I thought we would start off with a little water splash
!2 of us managed to get through without any trouble tho! some did have wet feet
We soon realized we were missing one to then find out, joss was still at the campsite messing with his suspension settings again
We soon rounded him up tho! & hit the hills
I hit one a little harder than normal and ended up with a broken thumb but still had four fingers left so it didn't stop me riding
Twas a bit of a pain trying to start the bike , turn the map & get the petrol cap off but the boys & girls helped me out when needed
On to the pub for grub which was a bit slow but biker friendly beware of the ploughman's lunch tho!, denzil reckon it was barely enough to keep him alive
Shockers attempt at adding some bling to his bike
Then some suggested we wash the bikes before we got back to the campsite
We weren't so lucky on our return voyage tho!....ending the day with 3 drowned bikes
Opps.....
Good joby shocker was carrying a spare plug & spanner too!.....
Thanks Guys as always great company & giggle was had

Re: North Wales weekend
Day two....
We lost denzil & shocker sunday morning, some call it jibbing but.... denzil had to drive south to find some proper food & shocker had to get home ..... well to dry his boots
Jams had drove up Saturday evening tho! to join another great bbq, beer & camp fire stories
Thankfully the sat nav boys stepped up & rob soon plotted a route in to his gps with brownie sweeping
Letting me just sit back & enjoy the ride only leaving me think "I don't recognize these farmers fields" once or twice
Jo was lucky here when she hit a camouflaged rock that sent her airborne over the bars thankfully she just got up laughing her head off
Time for some brecy
Sadly to find jams had broke a spacer off the rear spindle
So he had no choice, but to grab his peace pipe & head home
We did have a few bike probs & tumbles with dave having to fix a puncture, then ride with no clutch for a while but hey "that's trail riding"
Thanks again guys great weekend

Great pics Wolfy! Didn't know if that was a steam train in the background or Jams hiding with his peace pipe

Re: North Wales weekend
Great pics , poor old Jams should get a medal for making the 3 and a half hour trip up there , trying to sleep in a 5 yr olds tent , then only getting a mornings ride before his breakdown , and nearly leaving his car keys at the cafe ! I wonder if anyones found Garys camera yet , and downloaded his photos ??

For various reasons had 3 (mainly slightly crappy) cameras along, so luckily there was bugger all on it that early in the day
