Strata revisit

Me and Dayne started in Glasbury at 9.30am , followed the Sunday Barmouth route in reverse to do the stuff we missed out . All went well until Dayne realised his tailpack on his newly acquired 300 had bent the fender over , catching the tyre & eating his tools and tube . Found the wide river crossing that caught people out a few weeks ago , but we tickled across it without drama .Moved on up to Rhayader for lunch , picked up 2 tubes , as i'd already had a puncture mid morning . More fun round the Strata lanes , I even attempted an off piste river crossing at the end of the Strata , never again , slimy stones , looked like a tit , had to pull it out to much amusement of onlookers . More lanes then second puncture by about 5.00pm , tyre off , then looked like the tube was fine , so just blew it up , seemed ok , back on back and off we went . By Builth the fucker was down again . Pulled tube out to realise the one i'd fitted was a shit one i should have thrown away , had patches etc on it !! Hence last pic showing it heading for the bushes ! Back on the road , we finished the route at 8.00pm . Still and ace day though ! cheers
