Saturday 6th - Devon visit
Went out with Brownie plus six other's (sorry chaps, but i don't remember any of your names!) from Devon on Saturday.
Met at the usual place, and went in the usual direction - but that didn't matter as most of it was new to most of them
After a few lane's it was decided that Welsh mud was more slippery than Devon mud!
Then on to some more open stuff
Then the GasGas Pampera did what (in my brief experience during ownership) tend to do eventually - broke down!
While fixing it another group turned up, that knew most of the Devon Group which i thought was weird considering we were in the middle of Wales, until one of 'em from near Salsbury that i'd not seen for 10 years knew me - even weirder!
Fixed and on our way
It's still going!
Still going - but only on the downhill
After a quick stop it was decided to press on (no time for more photo's) to try and fit in a quick loop around the Black Mountains
Unfortunatly time ran out due to unforseen circumstances (no names as even Pampera's have feelings ) so back by 6.00.
A good breakfast, fantastic weather, lanes in great condition and good company meant we couldn't go wrong
Cheers chaps

absolute brilliant day, thanks gary.
been to wales half a dozen times and that was one of the best days we've had!
this is what trail riding is all about, plenty of lanes and scenery plus a good laugh.
it was very slippy out there and i dropped the bike 3 times which is unheard of by me, gutted we couldnt get to the black moutain bit but that will keep til next time,
we will be taking you up on the offer of a return trip, make no mistake about that!
i have a few photos that i will upload when i get chance.
my m8 lee was being polite and only pulling wheelies out of site lol i'm sure he is just trying to save wear on the front tyre.

We ran out of time just before it, but from what i could see everyone was happier on rock's than the 'slippery Welsh mud' and would probably have pissed up there on thier trials tyre's

Great day out, many thanks Gary.
(I'm the guy on the DRZ BTW).
I'm looking forward to coming back already, it was the best days riding I've had in Wales yet. Might see you down this way sometime.
Cheers, Rich.
