Did hear a theory the other day that overpacking bearings with extra grease can also cause failure. Not sure how true this may be... someone with O level in bearings may shed some light on it

Funny that! today i heard the same thing, somthing to do with more grease = extra heat but he also said on a dirt bike that is alway in the bog then power washed clean its more inportant to keep them clean.
I have never had a bearing fail but do change them if i feel a little bit of play in the wheel which i check often.
Not to say cavey's not right tho!.. me only little lol!
