me tank and miller went out yesterday. to get used to finding a few lanes and linking 1 or 2 up that we have been shown. so after a late start as somebody slept late (ahem) bearing in mind i had just come off a night shift. the tank was smashing my door through at 10.45am so i had also slept late for and mot but fair do's the lads at rrg martin in particular said to come over when ready should have realised then that a bad start usually ends with a bad end...
we headed off for mot all aok and then set off towards ponty found a nice little lane i have never done before. then headed up over to the gas station i think its called where miller decided to lead and wondered off exploring for a good 45 mins. without me and the tank Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

then i had a bit of a problem nothing major but limped to the main road.

i have found that all balls bearings are shit second set collapse on me and they havent been in there long gone back to stock bearings.

had to wait a good hour before the hero's picked me up and was freezing my tits off.

bad end to a bad start and its getting colder burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ but a good day none the less its always good as long as you got the company and the bike...

Good report, nothing worse than a breakdown Sad helps with good mates tho! Very Happy
I guess its a old news, but you do pop the seals out of new bearings & pack with good quality grease both sides of each bearing?

Hope you did'nt damage the hub, i also use copper grease between the bearing and the hub makes the wheels last longer.

Allballs arent the best,, but have you got worn seals and spacers or even worse a dodgy hub..

i am going to go back to stock bearings and put replacement kit in there. yeah i do pack the bearings with grease how often do you change the bearings as the ones i had on the front collapsed on me about 3 weeks back..
