'Better than nothing' report

This could possibly be be the most boring ride report ever, but as there ain't a lot happening on here at the moment, i thought i might get away with it.
Had a bit of a 'Billy-no-mate's' ride out over the Shropshire Hills today.
No cartwheeling bikes, no bikes up to the petrol cap in water, no vertical climbs or drops just boring trails i'm afraid.







There were two kid's fishing here and the one said 'it's OK mate a horse just went through' then the other one chipped in with 'yeah, but it was up to it's belly'
When the other one clouted him for denying him a laugh, i went over the footbridge instead!



Less pot holes in this one than most A roads!







Tempting though, if only to see the bugger at the other ends face:D



Is this the daftest name for a village ever??



Didn't see a single 4x4 or bike all day, them met another forumite in the middle of nowhere, who'd ridden up from South Wales with a tent lashed to his KTM going camping.
Fair play, but a bit hardcore for me!

So if anyone fancies a section 59 free, undemanding ride with a fair bit of road that's also quite way from South Wales (not really selling this one am i?) let me know and i'll stick it in the 'Ride Out' bit.

Looked like a nice chilled out ride, ideal for this crap weather at the moment
to hot out there for me and i ant forking out for new summer gear
Im sure the rain will be back soon enough

Taking my jacket off is the least of my problems at the moment
