sundays 14th the unexpected.....
Out on Sunday's bimble last week was myself rich Nigel Ryan Chris and Shepy.
Much to my surprise Ryan and Chris were on time well in fact even a bit early probley down to the fact that Ryan was told the meeting time was half hour before everyone else.
Graham turned up a bit late after some how manging to get lost less than 100 yards from where we were when he phoned for directions!
Getting ready for the off Gray and Nigel still having a lovers tiff about who,s fault it was they turned left when they should have turned right.
Of course as usual theres always the on going repairs needed with these orange things this time its nothing new graham out with the spanners before we even leave the tarmac.
from here we head towards Shepy hill, site orange thing fried itself the first time round.
nice hill this bit wet and no run up soon had the enduro goods and there smokers on there asses.
few more random shots of the next lane nice wet and plenty of mud. great.
quick five minutes brake here, how manys it take to work out how to use a hand pump?
next hill and a few more off from the enduro gods just before Shepys bike decides to bar-ba-que its self.
Shepy was looking real pissed off around this time until Nigel the fixer managed fire the bike back into life leaving Shepy to limp off home still smouldering...
few minuets later after attack the hill climb again we set of towards a nice boggy section just before me bike decided to throw me over the bars after finding what felt like an old mines shaft.
think it was the same hole that threw Ben over the bars last year!
looked like i,d been shot by a sniper Ryan said.
what a shame no one had a camera.
second stop of the days and out with a spanners not 1 but 2 this time.
these ktm owners should be expect fitters with the spanners
repairs done and on wards and soon to be up wards
anther hill climb see,s a few more on there asses this time its Ryan's turn.
some nice lanes around this way lots of leaves kept thing very slippery and interesting.
not been around this way for a while and quite a bit had changed including the trail not being where i thought it was.
still nice to have bit of a challenge although i don't know if Ryan was thinking the same...
but has Nigel's motto go,s (where one go,s we all go) worse was to come...
walnuts hill, named on the day by a fellow rider who was there when old rich blew his top about burning the clutch out on the rmz at the time.
from here we went in search off food while the Bevan brothers found a KFC (bastards) the rest of us made to with some of Tescos finest out of date sandwiches.
did try and to enter the next section by missing out this lane but after seeing what was parked at the start of it though it wise to go the other original way like this lane a lot can be a nice challenge as some of the boys were to find out.
original plan was going to head back on the same tracks more or less that we started out on (BORRING) but that was soon to change after we spotted something new...
so as much as i think Ryan didn't believe me it was all unknown and new...
soon to be regretting that KFC
to much KFC
this next lane was brill don't think anyone or thing had been up here for years
from here it went from a lane to make your own what turned out to be a old drainage gully or something like this.
it was around this time that rich said that Ryan had lost the plot and blown his top.
hot sweating bogged and in the woods i think it was Ryan's idea of hell and i apparently i was to blame......
nice slippery rock climb towards the end of the day before we make our way home in the dark. again.
good day out some nice new lanes will have to go back there again.
