We met in the middle of the night, it was so dark and cold it took me 20 minutes to have a piss before we set off...

The road burns were absolutely treacherous, unless you had a screw loose you wouldn't want to go over 30...(some did) and the windchill was like Siberia

we got a little close to the snowrun area and pete got a nosebleed, somehow he convinced wolfy there was a loop worth doing.....next thing we're in the woods riding through 3 foot deep ruts, criss crossed with slippery roots and frozen puddles, i dragged my bike around for a few hours, then we run around a few lanes that had trees fallen all over them so every 10 minutes we had to find detours... or drag your bike under the tree as me and spozzer did..

clarky got the shits and went home - a couple of others got the shits and went in the woods.

... but riding the ranges covered in snow in the sun made it all worthwhile...

...it was exactly what I needed this time of year

Twas a cracking day lads. Gutted I had to go home early but it was defo the right decision for me. Looked.like a blast in the woods and the sunken road. After talking to Dude that eveing I think he will come round to a goods woods ride again one day in 2019. Possobly with his tool mate. Cherrs guys was a top wintet blast
