Ktm EXC 2017 450/500 Air box Mod..

Not happy....with the new air box, breather pipe is way to low in the air box for wales

The way it is shaped is like a funnel at the bottom to fill your engine with milk on the smallest drop in water  

Can anyone see a problem with this mod ???

looks pukka to me ...... is that a tee youve used ?? hope you blocked the sticky uppy bit

Another few yards of pipe mounted above head height on the other side of the T might be the way forward for you

Don't know whether reducing the hole size will affect it. Google engine breather blockage or restriction can cause crankcase to pressurise!!!

Thats all i had to try it...got a 6mm straight joiner now to fit the pipe too.. thank god someone is thinking about it

Only dropping a little on the joiner, not sure if the length of pipe will affect breathing tho..?

It shouldnt do,its just venting any pressure,looks a good mod Paul,put a part number on it and patent it!!
