Cornish Knockers
Big thanks to Rich J and Mungey Dave for putting on a showcase of Cornwalls finest lanes . What looked like being the wettest weekend on record turned into a cracker - Stopped at my mates Brewery shop to pick up 2 boxes of ale . Tidy little campsite , and with Spencers outdoor catering and disco service in full swing , we all got totally pissed up on the Friday night before any riding had even started
Rich , Adam , Pete and Dave turned up with us all looking a bit green , but we soon got stuck in , and hit some of the greasiest bastard lanes ive ever seen . Carnage ensued , then Rich toned it down with a seaside coffee stop , and a nice riverside lunch . More of the same then , with the notorious Pink Panther - i'd rank it about the same as PantGlas , Limekiln and Devils staircase rolled together . Big thanks to Mikey500 for the pulling assistance . Rolled into a pub at tea time for a cooling pint , then a slightly mellower evening on the BBQ . Sunday saw some naked mx , then Spencer sabotaged his own van in order to jibb off the Sunday ride - taking Lee with him too . Another top route from Rich , with a good mix of allsorts , back to vans by about 4 , whre a panicky Acky was relieved to find that we had picked up his wallet that he'd left in the carpark at lunch .then a race home in the vans . Another highlight was crossing the Severn bridge , in the pissing rain , only to see Spozzer on the hard shoulder , pushing a Norwegian's bike into his van - the man is a legend .
2 nights in a childs tent with no sleep - but that was a cracking weekend - cheers to all who came and again thanks Rich - who lead the whole weekend using a dodgy phone on his handlebars
