Iphone for drone use

Been looking at maybe getting a cheap second hand drone to start having a go , but from what i can see , they all need a fairly modern phone to use as a screen . I've only got a shit old Iphone 4 and an ancient Ipad . Befoire I start spending out , anyone got a spare Iphone 6 going cheap ?
