Unless your unlucky it's probably cheaper to fix a 4t by the time you work out the extra fuel and 2 stroke oil  + 2-3 pistons  in a 2 stroke to one  in a 4t
my point as well dai no difference as long as change oil regular in 4 smoke last for ever

My mate had a yzf250 and never had to change a piston or do anything with the valves for the 2 years he had the bike. He reckons as long as you change oil and filter regular then you shouldnt have any problems. He used the bike most wknds and entered several comps on it and it was fine. It was a Yam tho and not a ktm!

+1 & they do go if you want em to... but don't jump out of your hands that often like a smoker lol!

Had a new piston at 500 hours & rebuild at 7/800 no need to thrash a 450 tho! Very Happy

Ive got about 15 years until a rebuild then at home to work ratio, money well spent, see.....I knew 4T was a good Idea Very Happy
