Re: Hi from Pembs!
welcome aboard ....what BMW have you got ?
As mentioned above McQueen has the 500 - and although a bit of a short ass and one of the more mature riders among us he chucks that thing around like its a 125 (well he did last weekend until he shagged his rear wheel bearings) - it does help that he's as fit as a butchers dog though !!!
See you out there soon

Re: Hi from Pembs!
ive got a 2013GSA, for the weight you can throw that about a good bit, but off road is a new game for me so time will tell on how I get on, im 6ft 4in and getting on for 19 1/2stone with gear (maybe under exaggerating) which was half the reason I went for a 500, tmy thought being maybe with my extra weight id counteract some of the power so its like a 450 or 350... im sure im very wrong and its too much bike for me as a newbie but hey, you guys will have some laughs as I wrap it round a tree!

Think you'll be fine plenty on here with much smaller bikes, and plenty of years under their belts & they still manage to flip, flood & generally abuse their bikes & bodies :-)
