2 smoke exhaust protection

Just surfing around at midnight, as you do - looking at exhaust parts and come across this ..

I got a new dep pipe on my CRM (£200) and i thought it might be worthwhile

I know Tri-Z is always swearing when he smashes his bike on the rocks - which is quite often ...

what do you think? worth a pony or what ?

Thats got to be better than the carbon ones, smashed my carbon one so many times i'm sick of repairing it. Took a mould after the last time I repaired it so going to make a Kevlar one instead to see how that lasts.

When we were in Romania one of the smokers had a guard that extended up from the sump guard, looked like a lot more protection to the pipe not like them alien looking plastic things either

Yes I saw that - thats what made me start searching ...

i might have to see if my technician can fabricate something on to this

I had one of them in the 90,s so must work if there still being sold.

It was made in Romania by a company called outsider ☺

Bit price eh.

It is a bit pricey but if you add the price of a sump guard & carbon exhaust guard together its probably not that bad ?

Front pipes don't come cheap either.
