Bath ride Joe's pics

I know it's unexpectedly early to be putting pics up of a ride that's still in progress but I had an unfortunate incident that ended in me going back to the van and coming home
The day started off so well, bright sunshine and nice easy day planned what could be better!
Everyone was envious of Joss's new hydration pack

Pete's unpucturable tubliss got a puncture in the high pressure tube  

A nice little stream crossing, note the jibbers  






Then we decided to detour over to Queen Ann Hill and that's where everything went wrong! I got up the hard bit despite parking my bike in a tree briefly then on the easier bit a bit further up I flipped the bike over and snapped the handlebar clean off
Luckily Rob has the footage

This is the awesome get me home fix that was so good I very nearly carried on with the day

Cheers Rob for leading and Pete and Dave for sweeping was a great half day

I had a bit of stick off a nearby tree stuffed in the middle of the bar
Not the first time I've used bits of wood to fix a Ktm problem and certainly won't be the last

Bloody hell mun. You can't go on a ride without breaking the bike. Should be a new bike soon that after all the new parts you've added. Good pics

I'm gonna have to start carrying a suit case on trail rides full of spares
I've never seen bars snap like that she did come down hard though
