I've found these for a trip away this year in the hotter climates. anyone have any experience with foam armour and if so are they any good? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

My mate has got the Leatt type. I think it's called airfit . He says it's very lightweight & very protective. It's got that honeycomb style armour. I would have bought it myself if I hadn't have bought the Leatt 5.5.
