The not so gentle valleys bimble.

With the engine rebuild in mind, I organised a very gentle bimble that was going to be me and spencer(he needed an easy ride to break himself in after a month off), to break it in. Owen didnt want to go out but after I discovered he fitted Tubliss I demanded he attend, under protest he did.

It was a very gentle bimble right up to the first lane, then I decided the the rebuild needed testing and decided to rag the shit out of the bike. It performed wonderfully, but the gentle bimble then degenerated into a shitfest of slippery grass, mud, water, logs and near vertical rock faces.

Spencer dumped his bike in the drink, and some how managed to recover like a king! Owen didnt fare so well however, Tubliss working wonders for him, he followed me up the last nasty bit and ended up with the bike on him, I thought it was air ambulance time, but it seems farm boys are tough, and he just threw the bike off him and finished off the day!

but then we both knew that was never going to be the case !!

I said i'll check on the weather the night before ...
I called him yesterday - I said dont look at a computer or a phone app - do it the old school way
- look out of the fecking window

drizzle at 50mph in your face aint no fun !!

I did whinge i was being a pussy towards the end - but it was freezing and i had been swimming - im home safe and warm with a glass of wine now

Would have loved to Rob, just wanted to be reasonably local incase of any issues with the rebuild.
