Nah, been lucky with water especially since I'm a twat around the stuff :/

Its definatly burning oil tho, exhaust port and valves are sooted right up, when I first had it they were clean as. Piston rings are at 0.3mm book gives 1mm tolerance, looking like the stem seals Sad

Engine is having an even worse day Sad

Only good news is the barrel is mint, hone marks arnt worn anywhere and the old piston has very very little wear on the skirts.

What's the hour/miles on it Pete?

I think its pretty close tbh, given the minimal wear when I striped it last night.

I have the letter from ktm showing the clock replacement at 2k miles, 600 when I had the bike, plus the condition of it was inline for the mileage when I had it, now on 2800, and I would estimate approx 1200 miles for the 1/3 of the time the clock stops working due to being wet Razz
