There not the best of engines in them through are they.

Sbs brake pads last me over a 1000 miles had them from paul green about 15 pound

I'd guess he is referring to your old 450.

Upto 06-07 the ktm 4 strokes had the bulletproof RFS engine.

The 4 stroke engines after the RFS are known to not be as well built

Yeah i read the older engine was a bulletproof engine and the early 08 models of the lc4? Engine a few issues. It had done 270 hours and started to smoke a little bit and was a pig to start once warm... picked it up cheap enough and I had a good few hours on it and got me into the trail riding. Made £500 on it so all in all I'm happy.

Can't wait now 6 weeks time I'll be ordering the new bike ready for the summer Very Happy

Try enduro news for sale section, usually well looked after bikes on there and the occasional bargain.

There was a few beta rr's on there recently
