One thing there not is light.
Id look a wr or crfx 250 over a klx dont think they got much get up and go.

My mate has a KLX450.. had a go on it few weeks ago, couldnt get over much more it weighted compare to my EXC. Had plenty of power tho

Ask Kirky about that 450 exc although getting the details and pics is like trying to get blood out of a stone it would seem

I wouldn't put a 450 out of mind either they only go as fast as you want it to and there's not a great noticeable amount of difference in weight.
Its always I think nicer to have a little bit more pork and not need it than not have enough when you need that little bit more.

I ride crf450x (yes red not ORANGE :-) when it's not lying on the ground next to me,
went to buy a 250x came home with a 450x can never have to much power,
need to check the weight compared to a 450exc

The klx450 was just a lot taller than the 250, not tried to sit on the KTM, I do ride a multistrada on the road tho so used to tall bikes but its easy to pick a spot to stick your foot down
