USK me nicely - Sun 10th Jan

Great turnout considering the weather , well done to Brownie & Nick for getting up so early
Nice to meet some new faces , lanes were well soggy , London Lane was a bit of a sod , but all was well up til lunch in Abergavenny .
Things turned a bit pearshaped after lunch , starting with a full sideways drop into a river ( never even looked at the bridge ! ) , then a plug out fook about in the pissing rain , lots of kicking , and finally Chris saved the day with his jump leads ( Cheers )
Discovered i'd lost my camera too which was a bastard , and then we got slowed up by a few tree issues as well .
Mogs  Lewis & Jack split off , as did Chris , and we chugged on . Joe bailed out at the last minute with a bald rear sprocket , but 3 of us managed the loop getting back in the pissing rain as light faded .
Only got footage to lunch , hopefully Brownie has some choice stuff too .

Great day out despite all the shenanigans , but roll on dry weather again

How the LFR ride go pete ?

It was very different, 3 and half hours straight in the woods. Been enjoying the woods latley, but I prefer the way we do things, nasty bits followed by a recovery ride to the next nasty bits, to be fair its probabily more me being unfit

I've just upped the vid of today.

As a side note I'd do another LFR ride if I fancied a full woods day, and they are a great bunch of people, but I wouldn't trade it for a SWTR ride, love the way things are done round 'ere!
