Hello, just registered.
been living near Abergavenny for a couple of years now and have done some riding with local mates above Blaenavon (although they're more into MX and not interested in straying much further). I ride a 10 yr old CRF 450 with little skill but love the trail riding and would like to explore further.
Got a couple of mates coming from Devon and was wondering if anyone could give us a day guided on either Sun 20th or Mon 21st? Failing that be good to hook up with anyone local for weekend rides. Cheers Stu
PS- away at the in laws for crimble (groan!) but back before new year. Would anyone be interested to meet next week and help me mark up map routes? At least that way if my dates don't work for anyone I could follow the OS!

Welcome Stu , plenty of lanes and routes round your way , I can't make those dates , but i'm sure someone on here may do . Catch up after Xmas , or get on the Xmas ride ( they could do with a few more

Evening Stu your best bet is to join a ride.
If your talking about the 20th of this months you maybe out of luck as from the way it's looking most of south wales are going to be on the Christmas ride

OK. Well I've committed to my pals coming over so I'll have a go with a map. If anyone has a hour spare one evening (or possibly during Wed day) next week and could help me mark some routes, I could drive to wherever. Thanks for the welcome guys, I'll join you in the new year anyway.
