Dont go there! ask Spence, get your seat cut first. Loss of suspension travel has bad news written all over it!

+1 keep the ground clearance, sump guards can take a thump at the best of times.

Leave the bike as stock as possible and learn to ride it before you change it.
I buggered with stuff on mine and ended up right back where I started once I got used to the thing properly.

Come on a few local lanes with us Sherrie (me mizzed and mel) - it's about progression... before you know it you'll be wraggeling it up lanes you never thought you could walk up.

That sounds fab, I'm up for it. I need new trousers though as I managed to burn a hole in mine and into me knee guard last week Hopefully I can pick some up at the NEC next weekend.

As a short arse with a CRF have dropped the forks (bar risers allow for more clearance) and set the rear suspension to the standard of 100 millimeters, and get by like that
Have used lowering links on previous bike , and as said never again!
You clatter every rock, and drag pegs in every rut
