Wet, miserable and foggy
Me and Mizzed doing our normal loop - weather looked terrible all week, but in the morning it actually was quite tame - no rain at least... but really foggy.
Mcqueen forgot his eyeballs - not that it would have made much difference as visibility was so poor,
and Ross jibbed his first ride ....said he had work
so me muffster and mizzed climbed the first mountain, the fog and cloud made it impossible to see any distance
- aiming for a gate we knew was there but couldn't see ... and all we kept finding were bogs...
muffster put his camera on me and said just hit it hard on the back wheel - always one to take advice from the experienced I gave it all I had
you'll have to wait for the video to see
heres the view I had most of the day :

Re: Wet, miserable and foggy
I had a great day out, wasnt a part of me that wasnt wet by the time I got home, that last downpour was evil.
Missed a few routes out due to time weather, and leaves everywhere not being able to spot the way through.
Video tonight hopefully!

Haha glad you had a good 1, I got home at 14:00 and started getting my kit on for a quick blast as I'm still yet to ride the bike and it pissed down, didn't feel worth it so she's still in the garage looking pretty.
I'll have my eyes open for the next ride and won't let work get in the way lol

Re: Wet, miserable and foggy
To be honest I was thinking... today was probably not the best day for a first ride ....
Not that i'm some sort of expert rider or anything - far from it - wait till you see my epic fail today
but the bad visibility made it hard to judge routes - there was one hill climb we could only see half way up the hill !!!!
and the wet weather all week made the usual snotty lanes - well more like rivers !!

Everything was wrong about it, but I thought it was a classic day out

Re: Wet, miserable and foggy
I know I was wet and miserable at the end - and crying for my mammy -
...that log road broke me ...who's idea was it to ride over half a mile of slippery logs
But now home in dry clothes with a cold beer - i'm glad we got out
