Any suspension experts?
Does anyone even bother trying??
20 years ago I tried on a '88 Husky 250 and simply made it unridable, so put everything back to the middle settings and never messed about much with what i don't understand since!
Now got a CRF with a handbook and the urge to try again
The plan is to reduce to sag to the correct amount (-40mm) by increasing spring pre-load, then fiddle with the rebound and damping settings to get it soft enough for trail riding rather than Supercross
Now wondering if it's a job best left to a pro, have a go and see what happens or just crack and ride even if it's all wrong??

There's a chap called Brokenlegs on the ktm forum that's supposed to know everything there is to know about suspension.
