Hay on wye...

Met up with my dads friends today for a guided tour around the hay on wye area. They had all travelled down from Derbyshire for a weekend of riding.
Met up at 9am, made the mistake of not having breakfast thinking we would be stopping fairly soon. Clocked 80 miles on and off the road until we stopped at 3.30.
Sadly my dad had lost his bike fitness and was struggling, so we left the boys at the petrol station and rode back to the van on the road. What a mistake! Freezing cold and soaking wet!
All in all a good day out, my first experience riding in a large group, 13 of us in total.
My Wrf performed great all day

My dad may have taken one or two, will see if he's got any.
If I had the video camera mounted I would of made a small fortune, just from my dad alone. Who broke 3 ribs

Bike fitness caught him out, ridden once last week other than not been out since April. Was a long day, without a break for 80 miles, a quad came around a blind bend and he panicked hit the front brake bike slid out and he broke his jacket, camel back, 3 ribs and left his dignity behind
