From what I've read , you and a bike are petty much the same as a golfer and his clubs out in the open . You're the tallest pointy thing out there , and the once the lightening hits you , it's gonna go through you and your bike . In a car it's a funny situation as the lightening travels through the metal shell rather than you as it's easier , but on a bike , your head is the first bit it'll hit . What a way to go ! Happens more often than you'd think .
