Re: oil levels
Funny guy
- actually I went up AB Motorcycles today to see if he can put an override clutch lever on the rekluse - he thinks its possible, he's ordered a gasket for the crank case for me - its going in next week...
might as well let him do the oil change for me too

Re: oil levels
Drain the old oil ,clean filters with a magnet and a fine spark plug brush, re fit plugs , lean bike over and fill oil filter chamber 3/4 full of oil , fit new oil filter, seal and cover , level bike , fill with oil to 1/4 of sight glass, warm motor gently no high revving of a cold motor . Allow to settle and cool then top up to half the sight glass. The reason i fill the filter housing is to ensure a charge of oil is present AT the filter instead of waiting for the pumps to get it there , protects the motor better at cold. Just how i do my bike

Re: oil levels
Kirky you didn't do it like that when I witnessed you doing it on the Barmouth ride.

Re: oil levels
I always fill the oil filter before sticking it back in.
