Invest in mousses, no need to carry tyre levers, tubes or pumps just pasties and crisps and sweeties

Looked into those but the ones that I looked at are not road legal only for off-road competion use.. Can you get road legal ones? And will always find room in my pack for food

I thought this looked like a good idea - bit pricey, but must be quality at that price

Im shit with tyre levers - i might look into mousses - i cant see how the police would notice unless they are really going over your bike - i guess its down to having a friendly MOT man

I've always carried 2 small levers, valve caps with built in valve removers axle spanner (which you need anyway) a front tube, Co2 cartridges and a mate who's been in the tyre buisness all his life is quite handy too
Quality tube's like Michelin's, tyres with a bit of life left in them and enough pressure all help too
Never needed a bead breaker for tubed tyres myself, as a quick stomp with a Sidi has always worked fine
Changing a tube easy enough - watch a few youtube clips and get some practice and you'll be away
Mousses no doubt less trouble, but always sound an expensive faff to look after properly plus only ever had 3 or 4 puntures in donkeys years of trail riding

Just seem the price you will need at least two too!
Mot wouldn't know if you fitted dummy valves.
But me think mousses got many bad points for trail riding.
When new there to hard, like 24 psi
Then slowly break down & wobble to 5 psi
If you can't change a tyre with a tube in, you got no chance with mousses so its probably two trips back & for to pick em up tho! many say they do fit free
Then you got the cost of mousses up against heavy duty tubes
Ok... if you have paid to enter an event a puncture is the last thing you want & the feeling of holding a up a trail ride to fix a puncture is a lot worse to you than the other guys, great call for a fag break & a chat I think
