Garage floor tiles ? any good
Ive spent years painting my garage floor , only for it to peel and bubble after a season or so . Tried 2 pack ( bit better ) , but it still comes off eventually . Plus ive got a bit of a condensation issue , so that floor can get a bit wet when weathers changing from cold to warm , and so floor just gets damp and misty . Thinking about floor tiles ( interlocking things ) . Cheapest seem to be Big Dug on Ebay , but ive got 33 sq metres to do . Any one use em ?

I've been thinking the same myself, i would imagine they're a bit warmer to work on than cold concrete too! Don't know of any reccomended ones though so i'll look forward to hearing off other people that have got them too!

Yes, got mine from Halfords, but was probably done at a tenner a pack
They work really well, especially in front of the work bench as warm to stand on, but do use bits of ply under sidestands to stop them poking holes in it

These seem reasonable - £3.78 , you need 4 for 1 sq m , so I'd need 120 for 30 sq m . So a bit better at £453 plus odd edging bits . Paint would cost me £80 ish , but then I do it every 2 years . Theyre 14mm thick , but Vinyl , so not the better PVC rubber sort .
Bit like buying an energy saving lightbulb - you know it makes sense , but cant bring youself to buy it !

Re: Garage floor tiles ? any good
My MRS old man got them in his garage, they are a good idea but the mistake he & yourself has made is paint the garage floor 1st, so the water & condensation has got no where to go causing it to stay a bit damp in there when the weather changes, so his next move was to carpet the garage with that tuff grey office stuff in conjunction with a decent dehumidifier(delongi 25ltr)(slightly elevated & a union drilled & fitted to the tank with a pipe going through the wall(never have to empty the tank) pretty much paid off winter just gone mate.

I've always found good quality floor paint to last and last straight on to concreate seems strange.
Use it in the tyre depots all the time.
As for the water ? Fix that first perhaps.

If I were you I wouldn't bother! Doesn't look like you've got anything there that would matter if it went rusty anyway
