Wye valley colamity

A few of us set off for a little ride saturday, there were four of us trying out my first little planned route on me garmin   it was all going well until they seen the bottom of pant-glas steps after a lot of swearing we all made it to the top and carried on, went for brekky in usk and done a few of the usual suspects until we reached devils steps where it was just too much for one of the larger of our group and his 530, the battery died which left him having to kick it( never seen a living person that shade of blue before ) so we went for a swift one in Penalt and headed to monmouth where we met up with Rob and Dayne who looked like their day had been like ours After another lane and a puncture it was pitch black so a really long, cold ride home was on the cards, we'll finish the route another day!
I got a few pics on me phone but its difficult scrabbling to get the phone out whilst laughing at the carnage

Then she nearly made it to the top but not quite so Dave had a go which resulted in this!

Is it technically an off if you still keep hold of the bars? Dave didn't think so

So Dave took his bike up too and left it perched on that rock, another group came down then so we all got on the bikes to clear the track, got to the top and realised after 5 minutes we'd left poor old Tom hanging off a rock with no electric start, he was knackered!

I was game but everyone one else wanted to go home, but then they didn't have a super duper high intensity led floodlight mounted to the front
